Started work on my next shortfilm

 

I am working on a scifi shortfilm, Nights On Pluto. Its gonna be rotoscope animation. 1st time doing anything like this so I am pretty excited about doing animation techniques I haven’t done before.

For the project it means I am going to previs everything. I have to model everything beforehand and create a previs/storyboard before shooting the actors in front of a greenscreen.

Something clicked a little over a year ago - I think rotoscope animation is my medium of choice from now on.

You can check out the timelapse of me modeling and laying out the 1998 apartment the characters live in. Yeah, the shortfilm is set in 1998 and 2082.
